Library 2.0 Brochure

Overview

The rebranding efforts for Bretford continued with Library 2.0. As change was occurring in the classrooms, change was also occurring in libraries of schools. In 2011, libraries were becoming known as media centers and, many times, were the first active learning environment project for the school.

This brochure was a compilation of new spaces of a trending media center.  Less shelving, more open spaces. Less furniture on glides, and more mobile, agile furniture on casters.  Fewer computer labs, more collaboration rooms and areas.

Once again, I used models to bring inspiration to readers. I wanted readers to picture themselves and their students in the spaces.

Propping the imagery with the latest technology and writing new messages about media centers, proved to be very successful for Bretford. Dealers not only used this brochure, but also this new style of photography as a selling tool to help initiate conversation about the aging library and how to bring change to this new space called the media center.
