Digital Atelier Project

Overview

It was an incredible experience to be able to provide our powered furniture for the Digital Ateliers and see how the students connected and took pride in the work they created in the learning space.

The Digital Atelier was a three-year research project where Bretford partnered with Columbia College to bring a connected learning model to teachers and youth and study the effects on the design of learning spaces. The results from the research drove more schools to adopt this inspirational learning model. It is currently the only study where the outcomes actually show an improvement in grades and attendance.

The summary was the third in a series of knowledge resources for Bretford Sales Representatives to bring support to schools looking to make the change towards active learning environments.

In addition to the printed research summary, a website was designed and developed to support and share the findings during the three-years.  Social media and email campaigns around this study drove new leads for Bretford, making an impact in overall sales for Bretford.
