CEU Courses
Overview
Continuing Education Unit (CEU) courses are used in the furniture industry to train Architects and Interior Designers on new and innovative trends.
I developed a total of nine CEU courses, from 2010 to 2014, as well three courses in 2017 for Paragon, that were article, slide, or video based on the topic of active learning environments. I used researchers, teachers, interior designers, architects, and even an editor to help tell the stories on active learning.
These courses enabled the sales forces to make lunch and learn appointments at key design and architect firms across the country, while helping to build many new relationships and most importantly, close business. Courses were also shared with end users looking for more information on active learning.
In addition to the courses themselves, while at Bretford, a supplemental brochure and video were produced to share the number of courses Bretford had available and encourage participation.
I also made it easy for Bretford sales representatives to track course participation and give credit to attendees, by producing an online registration system accessed from our extranet portal called BretfordCommons.
